Lady Fiona came to us in 2025 for shot blasting and two-pack epoxy hull blacking including the base plate. Once the hull was blasted back to bare steel, areas of deep pitting became clearly visible, allowing us to pit weld the affected areas before applying the protective two-pack epoxy coating.

While Lady Fiona was with us, the new owners decided it was the perfect opportunity to make some changes internally too. We transformed the galley and saloon areas to better suit their lifestyle, giving the space a fresh new look while making it more practical for the way they wanted to use the boat.

We also replaced the existing pump-out toilet with a composting toilet and updated the wood-burning stove area, including changing the tiles and rectifying issues with the original stove installation.

A great example of how a visit for hull maintenance can also be an opportunity to update, improve and personalise a boat for its new owners.
